Testimonial for Kyle Hughes
Kyle always struck me as a single-minded individual intent on pursuing his skills and ambitions to become a first-class drummer. Having known him as a student during his schooldays he followed that course with determination and dedication.
He has never lost sense of the need to work in an ensemble and I found him sensitive to the particular needs of the musicians surrounding him. He shows real expertise as a leader of the rhythmic drive and energy of the bands he was worked with. His playing experience over the years has given an insight and understanding of a varied set of musical genres and styles and he has shown a particular ability to adapt and update his repertoire to suit the occasion.
This young man has an undoubted gift for rhythm and he has skilfully developed this over the years. I look forward to seeing and hearing great things from Kyle.

Testimonial for Kyle Hughes from Jukka Packalen :
I had the pleasure to witness Kyle Hughes play with Twister and the great Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal on the same night. I was so blown away by his talent, that I asked him after the show if he would be willing to perform on my upcoming solo album
Kyle has been extremely professional and involved throughout the process and I dare say that his performance will be the highlight of the album. Kyle is also a showman extraordinaire. I feel lucky to have been able to collaborate with him. I can recommend Kyle for hard rocking drumming duties without hesitation!

Dan Rochester (Bone Tomb)
Kyle was great to work with on the debut Bone Tomb album. He is one of the most professional and able musicians I have worked with in my 12 year career, and his versatility, both genre-wise and technique-wise, is second to none. Highly recommended.

Testimonial for Kyle Hughes
"I had the pleasure of playing with Kyle at the O2 in Newcastle UK on March 3, 2015. He and his band learned a full set of my songs (which are not easy, gaaahhhh!), and nailed everything with chemistry and comfort after only meeting on show day and playing that evening. He was a pro from the first time we spoke via email and then Skype, he was on top of preparations and communication, and a pleasure to work with well before ever getting in the same room together and hitting the stage. He's done the work, in every way - he's a fantastic showman (the ladies love him, ha!), and he stood out as a real VIP on the stage. I had long-time Bumblefoot fans after the show make the point to tell me, "seeing you with Kyle brought it to an even higher level." Not only would I play with Kyle again, and recommend Kyle, but I honestly feel a bit of a loss to *not* be playing with him. He's THAT valuable. And I know he's going to have a great future, and he has my support in whatever he does."
